Low Modulus Prefabricated Sealant DM- flex 259
DM-flex 259 is a one-component, moisture curing, elastic joint polyurethane adhesive and sealing compound of permanent elasticity, based on polyurethane. It is suitable for outdoor applications.
Applications :
Universal joint sealing compound for building construction, e.g.
1) As an elastic sealant for movement joints:
· Precast concrete construction.
· Balcony parapets.
· Bridge cantilevers.
· Retaining walls.
· Subways
2) As an elastic joint sealer/caulking for:
· Window frames and doors.
· Skirtings.
· Wall/floor joints.
· Shutter housings.
Advantages :
· Excellent adhesion on all cement-based materials, brick, ceramics, glass, metals, wood, epoxy, polyester and acrylic resin.
· Fast cure rate.
· Good weathering and water resistance.
· Non-corrosive.
· Can be painted over with water, oil, and rubber-based paints. (Preliminary tests recommended).
· High tear resistance.
· Low temperature resistance, in the range of -40 ℃ ~ 90 ℃, can maintain good flexibility and adhesion.

Storage :
· Shelf life: 12 months in original packing, since the production date.
· Recommended storing temperature: 10℃~25℃ (not >45℃).
· Dry and cool condition can help to postpone the shelf-life.
· The shelf-life may be change rely on special packing materials.
